What a surprise the Falls Village in Branson was for couple of nature-loving seniors. I thought that we’d like the area, but my honey was a little less sure. He likes the beach, but he got his share of water here too. An informative and beautiful, boat tour down the river included and embarrassing and funny win of a hoola-hoop contest (what the hey…these people don’t know me!). The river was cool! No, I mean literally cool. When we approached it from the Landing on a hot summer day, it was like walking into air conditioning. At night the light show there is amazing and it was easy to reach from our lodging. Then there was Dogwood Canyon. Don’t miss it! A trolly, Scagways, or bicycles are available to take you around this very unusual and beautiful nature park and animal refuge. On to Eureka Springs for a day of arts and crafts, then back to Branson to catch the “Six” show. The shows are really good! There is so much we didn’t have time to see. Now it’s my husband saying “Let’s go back! That was the best vacation ever.”
