Just back from another trip to the Sunshine Resort. I know that the Fountains gets a lot of praise (and it should cause it is great), but Sunshine is also very nice. Rooms are large and modern. Location is good (short drive to Disney and almost at Universal). When we checked the staff knew us by name. They were very helpful and friendly. The grounds were perfect. The security man continually walks about the resort. He must be in good shape. Small resort and they have few activities, but I really don’t go for the activities at the resort. Don’t hesitate to make reservations at this place and it does take LESS points than the Fountains. You can always go the Fountains on a day trip to use their large pools.
